This mosque was built in 1937 by the village folks themselves with traditonal building materials brought from Indonesia. Its roof tiles were specially imported from India, with the top of its roof constructed with horn-shaped cement.

It roof tiles were specially imported from India. The mosque also spoils a replica of the buffalo’s horn on its roof tops and the influence of Jambi Heritage is clearly evident in this building.
